Our company history
Netstal’s beginnings trace back to 1857 and the founding of “Maschinenfabrik, Eisen- & Messinggiesserei Ulrich Rietmann & Cie” in Netstal (Switzerland). 1945 saw 'Netstal' sell its first injection molding machine and just a few years later work started on the Näfels plant, which has been the company headquarters since 1961.
The company continually expanded throughout the following decades and, in the wake of numerous innovations, progressed to become the technology and performance leader in the injection molding machine industry.
