Your tasks

  • Lead a team of three employees.
  • Independently manage customer relationships and acquisition, with overall responsibility for market development in the East Germany region (postal codes 0, 1, 38, 39, 9).
  • Support customers during molding trials in Switzerland and maintain close coordination with technical and service teams.
  • Assist in preparing offers and project plans, including cost calculations and scheduling.
  • Conduct technical and commercial negotiations through to contract conclusion.
  • Develop regional strategies, forecasts, and market analyses to drive revenue growth.
  • Continuously monitor the market, analyze competitors, and maintain sales data to optimize the sales process.

Your experience

  • Sales experience and initial leadership responsibility, ideally in selling complex capital goods
  • Solid knowledge of plastics technology, particularly injection molding and toolmaking
  • Strong initiative and assertiveness in complex negotiations
  • Willingness to travel within the sales territory and occasionally to Switzerland
  • Confident interaction with customers at all levels, combined with analytical thinking
  • Professional demeanor, active listening, and compelling argumentation in customer discussions
  • Ability to work independently, identify opportunities, and implement actions to achieve sales targets
  • Passion for customer acquisition and relationship management
  • Residence within the East Germany sales region
