Netstal continues to relaunch their business globally with the addition of iTech-Global to represent Netstal in Mexico. Based in Queretaro, iTech-Global has a strong presence throughout Mexico and subject matter expertise in the same market segments of packaging and medical plastic processing as Netstal's core business. Mexican customers and prospects should expect to see a higher Netstal presence and greater responsiveness in the market as the result of iTech-Global's capability applying best practices and helping customers achieve lowest per part cost manufacturing for high volume injection molded parts.

Straightaway in the top 17% of companies for special-purpose machinery: Netstal receives the bronze medal from EcoVadis for its sustainability performance to date. In the coming years, the company intends to further increase its sustainability.

A new option is now available for hybrid injection molding machines from NETSTAL: Adaptive system pressure reduction permanently determines the optimum operating pressure in the hydraulic system. The retrofittable feature lowers power consumption while maintaining at least the same productivity, reduces the CO2 footprint and pays for itself in a short time.

Remo Heusi has been the new Vice President Global Service at NETSTAL since December 2022. He succeeds Frank Arnold, who will leave the company at his own request.

At drinktec (Munich, Germany, September 12-16, Hall C5, Booth 363), NETSTAL will present the new PET-LINE 3000, producing CSD preforms with a thread for tethered caps. By extending the series, the Swiss company is increasingly establishing itself in the market for preform systems with side removal. Thanks to innovative features, users benefit from higher productivity and lower manufacturing costs.

The establishment of the independent, global NETSTAL organization continues to progress under the umbrella of the KraussMaffei Group. In the most important regions, NETSTAL will serve customers from the medical technology and the beverage and packaging industries with 12 of its own subsidiaries. By concentrating on strategic application fields, users will benefit from maximum productivity and lowest manufacturing costs.

Alberto Rossi has taken over the position of Managing Director at the recently re-established subsidiary NETSTAL Italia S.r.l. Alberto Rossi thus indirectly succeeds Andrea Bottelli, who had successfully built up the former Netstal Italia S.r.l. since 1995 and then further developed the Italian market for both brands as Managing Director of KraussMaffei Italia from 2013 to 2020. From the new location in Gerenzano (VA), Alberto Rossi and his team will provide comprehensive support to customers throughout Italy.

NETSTAL is strengthening its presence in the North American market with its new US subsidiary. Doug Haberman will lead NETSTAL Inc. as president. He will report to Renzo Davatz, CEO of NETSTAL, Member of the Executive Committee of the KraussMaffei Group and Board Director of the new company. NETSTAL Inc. is headquartered in Hebron, Kentucky.

At FIP in Lyon (April 5 to 8), NETSTAL will present an innovative thin-wall packaging application. On the fully electric ELION 1200-510, drinking cups will be produced in two cavities. NETSTAL uses KANEKA Biodegradable Polymer Green Planet™, a 100% plant-derived biopolymer, for this sustainable application.

(Näfels, 03.03.2022) Powerful and particularly energy-efficient: With the hybrid high-performance machines of the ELIOS series, NETSTAL is excellently positioned in the application field for high-speed thin-wall applications with clamping forces between 4500 and 10000 kN. By intelligently redesigning the drive components, NETSTAL was able to significantly shorten the dry cycle time of the smallest model with 4500 kN and at the same time further reduce power consumption. Users benefit from increased productivity and lower unit costs.

On December 2, 2021, NETSTAL Maschinen AG received accreditation from the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS) as a calibration laboratory for injection molding machines in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017. This entitles NETSTAL to perform risk-based machine calibrations at customers' facilities and to issue standard-compliant documentation. The new service offering opens up additional competitive advantages for users from the medical technology sector in particular, as they produce within minimum tolerance limits and have to prove this on a regular basis.

NETSTAL receives the title of "Best medical injection molding packaging company" at the Global Excellence Awards 2021 from Global Health and Pharma. For the second time after 2019, the company is being honored for its innovative strength in the field of medical technology injection molding machines and applications. NETSTAL is a company of the KraussMaffei Group.

(Näfels, 01.10.2021) In keeping with the motto "circular economy meets digital", NETSTAL and its partners will be presenting at FAKUMA a packaging solution with reduced plastic content and the e-Service, which is available to all users free of charge. From January 2022, NETSTAL will also be offering machine calibrations accredited to ISO 17025. NETSTAL will be located in hall B5 at booth 5217.
