Based on its representative office in Shanghai since 2001,  Netstal China Ltd., an independent subsidiary with a broad spectrum of services was established on April 1st, 2005.

Being a fully fledged subsidiary, Netstal China Ltd. offers competent services in all areas one can rightly expect from an offshoot of the Netstal Group Switzerland. Netstal presents itself also in China as a supplier of high quality and high performance injection moulding machines and systems.
The main target group in this segment are processors who intend to comply with Western standards as far as quality, performance and reliability are concerned. This includes also the packaging market, which is served outstandingly well with the proven SynErgy range of equipment. Further important areas are the beverages market for PET preforms and the Chinese Optical Discs machinery market which enjoys the reputation of being the world's biggest.

In order to reach the different market expansion targets, Netstal China Ltd. has moved into a building of approx. 1800 square metres in the Free Trade Zone of Shanghai. The subsidiary has generous office rooms and a spacious demonstration facility, so that interested clients can be convinced of the capabilities of Netstal machines on the spot and the personnel of new customers trained directly on the premises. The stocks of spare parts are located in close proximity to various logistics partners, which means that fast and direct deliveries to the whole of China are guaranteed. The actual Netstal machines are manufactured in Switzerland now as before, however.
